Deepti Kapadia is a Policy Associate at the Mowat Centre. Most recently, while undertaking PhD studies in Sociology, Deepti worked on several large research projects at McMaster University and Ryerson University related to education, immigration, and labour market outcomes using quantitative and qualitative analyses. Deepti holds a MA in Political Science with a focus on Public Policy and Administration in addition to Canadian Politics, as well as a BA (Hons) double major in Political Science and Sociology from McMaster University. Her research interests are: social inequality, race and ethnicity, gender, education, immigration, and labour market outcomes. Previously, Deepti has worked at both the federal and provincial government.
